Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that the invaluable contribution of workers has placed Haryana on the fast track of development and that their role will be equally vital in realizing the vision of making India a developed nation. Addressing the state-level Workers’ Honour and Awareness Ceremony organized at Gurugram University, the Chief Minister emphasized that it is because of the strength and dedication of workers that Haryana has emerged as one of the fastest-growing states in the country. He assured that the government is fully committed to the welfare, security, and prosperity of workers across both organized and unorganized sectors, with numerous schemes being implemented to uplift their lives. The ceremony, which was presided over by Haryana Labor Minister Anil Vij, was also attended by Union Minister of State Rao Inderjit Singh and Haryana’s Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, and was broadcast live across all districts of the state. On this occasion, the Chief Minister, along with other dignitaries, also visited a health check-up camp organized for the workers. Speaking directly to the workers, Saini underlined that respect for labour has always been an intrinsic part of Haryanavi culture and quoted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision that the strength of workers will play the most crucial role in shaping India as a developed nation during the Amrit Kaal. He added that every brick of Haryana’s progress is testimony to the hard work, resilience, and dignity of the workers, whose contribution remains the backbone of social justice and nation-building.
