Nayab Singh Saini on Friday announced the release of financial assistance under multiple welfare schemes, reaffirming the Haryana Government’s focus on social security, women empowerment, farmer welfare and digital governance. Addressing beneficiaries during an official programme, the Chief Minister said the state government was continuously working to ensure that welfare benefits directly reach people in a transparent and time-bound manner.

The Chief Minister stated that the seventh instalment under the Lado Lakshmi Yojana had been released by the government. Under the scheme, an amount of ₹205 crore has been transferred directly into the bank accounts of nearly 9.76 lakh women beneficiaries across the state. He said the initiative reflects the government’s commitment towards strengthening the financial independence of women.

Highlighting the government’s extensive social welfare outreach, the Chief Minister said that through 18 different social security pension schemes, an amount of ₹1,146.73 crore has been credited into the accounts of over 35.62 lakh beneficiaries. These pensions cover senior citizens, widows, differently-abled persons and other vulnerable sections of society.

In another significant step aimed at supporting students from weaker sections, the Haryana Government has integrated scholarships for Scheduled Caste and Backward Class students with the National Scholarship Portal. Under this initiative, 64,923 students have received scholarship assistance amounting to ₹100.45 crore.

The Chief Minister also informed that under the Dayalu Yojana, financial assistance worth ₹215.29 crore has been transferred to 5,677 eligible families. Additionally, subsidy support amounting to ₹38.54 crore has been credited into the accounts of over 11.23 lakh women beneficiaries for domestic LPG cylinders.

Focusing on farmer welfare, the Chief Minister said the government has released compensation worth ₹370.52 crore for crop losses suffered during the Kharif 2025 season. The compensation amount has been transferred directly into the accounts of 1,50,583 farmers. He further stated that over the past 11 years, farmers in Haryana have received crop insurance claims worth ₹9,888 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana.

He added that under the Bhavantar Bharpai Yojana, an amount of ₹38.88 crore has been distributed among 5,296 potato and cauliflower growers. With the latest release, the total amount disbursed under the scheme has reached ₹196.03 crore.

The Chief Minister also launched a new digital initiative aimed at simplifying procurement-related services for farmers. He said an application has been introduced through which J-Forms for crops procured at Minimum Support Price (MSP) during the ongoing Rabi season will now be sent directly to farmers via WhatsApp. This step, he said, would eliminate the need for farmers to visit commission agents for obtaining procurement records.

In another move towards digital governance and transparency, the Haryana Government also launched an online Building Plan Approval System. According to the Chief Minister, the platform will not only save time but will also help curb corruption and improve administrative efficiency.

Sharing updates on wheat procurement, the Chief Minister said that over 82.55 lakh metric tonnes of wheat have already been procured during the current Rabi marketing season. Payments amounting to ₹16,481 crore have been transferred to farmers so far.

The announcements are being viewed as part of the Haryana Government’s broader strategy to strengthen welfare delivery mechanisms while simultaneously promoting transparency, digital governance and direct benefit transfers across sectors.
