Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday said that the results of the local body elections in Haryana reflect the people’s strong support for the policies and leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Interacting with mediapersons at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi, the Chief Minister congratulated all winning candidates in the municipal elections and described the outcome as a clear endorsement of the BJP’s development-oriented governance model. Haryana Development and Panchayat Minister Krishan Lal Panwar was also present during the interaction.
Nayab Singh Saini said the BJP continues to receive public support across the country because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and commitment to fulfilling promises made to the people. He stated that under Modi’s leadership, BJP governments are continuously being formed in different states, which reflects the increasing confidence of voters in the party’s governance and policies.
The Chief Minister accused the Congress party of relying on misleading narratives and false promises to connect with the public. He said voters have now understood what he described as the “real face” of the Congress and are rejecting its politics.
Referring to recent political developments, Saini said the BJP had achieved major electoral success in states such as West Bengal and Assam and that the Haryana civic poll results also reflected a similar one-sided mandate in favour of the BJP.
He further said that the municipal election outcome has politically exposed the Congress party and demonstrated that people have once again placed their trust in the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
The Haryana civic body elections have witnessed strong performances by BJP candidates in several urban local bodies, including Panchkula, Ambala and Sonipat, strengthening the party’s position in urban Haryana ahead of future political contests in the state.
