The scheme, announced in the state budget, aims to provide financial assistance of ₹2,100 per month to women aged between 23 and 60 years from families with an annual income of up to ₹1 lakh.

The scheme is set to benefit approximately 22 lakh women in the state and will be launched on September 25, 2025, on the occasion of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya’s birth anniversary. A mobile app will be launched for registration of eligible women. The government has allocated ₹5,000 crore for this initiative.

The launch event in Panchkula will feature health check-up camps as part of the ‘Swasth Mahila – Sasakt Parivaar’ campaign, prioritizing women’s health.
