Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Nayab Singh Saini, announced that vigorous preparations are underway to make the 11th International Yoga Day, scheduled for June 21, a grand success. Over 11 lakh people are expected to participate in yoga programs across 22 districts and 121 blocks of the state.

The state-level main event will be held at the historic Brahma Sarovar in Kurukshetra, where Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev will lead the yoga session. The event aims to set a new world record with over one lakh participants.

The Chief Minister emphasized that yoga is a gift from our sages and saints, and its global adoption is a testament to its benefits. Haryana has already seen significant participation in yoga programs, with over 15 lakh 60 thousand people engaging in various activities since May 27.

As part of the celebrations, a Yoga Jagran Yatra will reach 5,000 villages on June 19, and 10 lakh medicinal plants will be distributed. A portal has been created for registrations, with over 7 lakh 65 thousand people already signed up.
