Panchkula, As the Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2025 is scheduled to be conducted across Haryana on July 26 and 27, the Panchkula district administration has finalized all arrangements to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the examination. Reviewing the preparations on the eve of the examination, Haryana Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department, Dr. Sumita Mishra, held a high-level coordination meeting with senior civil and police officials, emphasizing strict adherence to security and administrative protocols under a policy of zero tolerance for any lapses.

During the review, Dr. Mishra directed the district police and administration to maintain strict surveillance at all centers and instructed them to treat all candidates and their guardians with politeness and sensitivity. She extended her best wishes to the candidates and urged them to reach their allotted centers well in advance. She assured that if any candidate faces difficulty, they can approach the nearest police officer for immediate assistance. Dr. Mishra further instructed police personnel to ensure that no candidate faces disruption on their way to the exam and must be assisted all the way to the examination venue if needed.

In order to assist examinees, help desks are being set up at the Panchkula Sector-5 bus stand and other major public areas. The administration is also disseminating official information to counter misinformation. Dr. Mishra specifically cautioned candidates and guardians against false messages and forged documents circulating on social media. She stressed that only the official instructions issued by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC), the police, or the district administration should be followed. Any attempt to circulate fake information or use fraudulent means would invite strict police action.

Deputy Commissioner of Panchkula, Ms. Monika Gupta, briefed that the district is fully prepared to host CET 2025. Over 108 buses have been arranged from Sector-5 bus stand to ferry candidates to their respective centers. Special bus services are also being deployed from Kalka, Morni, Barwala, and Raipur Rani for both morning and afternoon exam shifts. Authorities have ensured that candidates will not face transportation challenges, even from remote areas.

Further, the district has enforced strong exam integrity protocols. Mobile phones are strictly banned not only for candidates but also for staff deployed inside the examination centers. Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita will be in force around the examination zones to ensure peaceful conduct. Coaching centers and photocopy shops in proximity to the exam centers will remain shut on both days to prevent any unfair practices.

Panchkula Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ms. Srishti Gupta, confirmed that 550 police personnel will be deployed at 44 examination centers. Surveillance from rooftops using binoculars has also been planned to monitor any suspicious movement. A specialized traffic management plan will be implemented to avoid congestion. Private vehicles will not be allowed within a 500-meter radius of any exam center, and violators of parking norms will face strict legal action.

To ensure information dissemination and crowd control, Emergency Response Vehicles (ERVs) and Police Control Room (PCR) vans will make announcements through loudspeakers to guide candidates and the public. All police teams have been instructed to remain on high alert and take immediate action against any individual or group attempting to disrupt public peace or examination proceedings.

With thousands of candidates appearing for CET 2025 in Panchkula alone, the authorities are leaving no stone unturned to ensure a fair, secure, and candidate-friendly environment. From transportation to crowd control, surveillance, and public awareness campaigns, every aspect is being meticulously managed. The coordinated efforts by the district administration, police, and transport departments reflect Haryana government’s commitment to delivering a transparent and efficient recruitment process.
