Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday emphasized that the **Saras Livelihood Fair** is not just an exchange platform for artisans and buyers but a powerful step toward boosting the nation’s economic self-reliance. He urged citizens to take pride in locally crafted products and prioritize them in their daily lives, thereby strengthening the livelihoods of artisans and small entrepreneurs across the region.

Addressing the closing ceremony of the Saras Livelihood Fair-2025 at Parade Ground, Sector-5, Panchkula, the Chief Minister highlighted the exceptional talent and craftsmanship displayed by women-led Self Help Groups (SHGs) from various states. He encouraged women entrepreneurs to manufacture products that can confidently compete with foreign goods in terms of quality, design, and craftsmanship.

During his visit to the exhibition stalls, CM Saini showed keen interest in handmade items crafted by women SHG members, artisans and craftsmen. Praising their dedication, he said that the efforts of these women are significantly contributing to **Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a self-reliant India** and the spirit of *Vocal for Local*. He urged women entrepreneurs to continue creating products that can challenge imported goods and enhance India’s presence in global markets.

In a major step toward expanding the reach of SHG products, the Chief Minister launched **two online platforms** developed by the Haryana State Village Livelihood Mission—**Swapan Digital Village Market Portal** and **Sanjha Bazaar Sales Portal**.

The Swapan Digital Village Market Portal is an integrated global e-commerce platform designed to showcase and sell products made by Haryana’s SHGs. The portal will empower rural women by offering features such as product registration, order management, sales tracking, and access to customers at state, national, and international levels. This initiative aims to elevate rural livelihoods and boost economic independence among women entrepreneurs.

The **Sanjha Bazaar Sales Portal**, on the other hand, will streamline the functioning of Common Bazaars, village shops, bus stand outlets, canteens, Saras fairs, and mall stalls. SHGs will benefit from transparent stall allocation, real-time sales tracking, product performance analysis, and uniform market availability. The portal will act as a centralized system integrating all operational aspects of SHG-led market spaces.

With these initiatives, the Haryana government aims to build a robust digital marketplace for rural entrepreneurs and ensure that local products gain the recognition and reach they truly deserve.
