Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister, Anil Vij, recently inspected two health check-up camps organized in Ambala Cantonment under the Seva Pakhwada program. The camps, held at Civil Hospital Ambala Cantonment and Hari Nagar Singh Sabha Gurudwara near BD Floor Mill, offered a range of medical tests, including ECGs and lung tests, free of charge, along with consultations and medicines.
Minister Anil Vij emphasized that these camps are proving highly beneficial for the people, with hundreds of workers from surrounding areas undergoing health check-ups. Patients diagnosed with serious illnesses are being referred to the Civil Hospital Ambala Cantonment for regular treatment. The Seva Pakhwada program, observed nationwide from September 17 to October 2, includes various activities such as tree plantation drives, cleanliness campaigns, blood donation camps, and health check-up camps.
The health check-up camp at Hari Nagar Singh Sabha Gurudwara saw participation from doctors of Civil Hospital and physicians from Mullana Medical College, providing free diagnostic facilities to a large number of people. Minister Vij interacted with patients, motivating them to prioritize their health, and appreciated the efforts of the organizers.
The Seva Pakhwada initiative aims to promote community service and social welfare, with the health check-up camps being a significant part of this endeavor. By providing free medical services, these camps are helping to improve the health and well-being of the people in Ambala Cantonment.
