Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that the BJP will win the upcoming assembly elections in Punjab , after which, following the policies of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the BJP state government will once again make Punjab the number one state in terms of development.
Mr. Saini was speaking to the media after joining the party at its Chandigarh office on Monday. BJP Punjab President Kewal Singh Dhillon was also present on the occasion.
Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Nayab Singh Saini made his cousin Major Bhupinder Singh Badal, who was the political advisor of former Punjab Chief Minister late Parkash Singh Badal for 25 years, his son Amarveer Singh Badal , President of Municipal Council Sannoor and AAP leader Pradeep Joshan, and many other leaders join the party by wearing the BJP turban to them.
Welcoming all the leaders who joined the BJP, Mr. Saini assured them of full respect within the party. He added that these leaders’ joining the BJP has further strengthened the party in Punjab.
Taking a dig at the Congress and AAP, he said that neither party’s government has fulfilled its election promises. People are so fed up with their corrupt practices that they are looking to the BJP with hope. He accused Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann of passing the time by cracking jokes, saying that when people question him about his election promises, he starts cracking jokes. AAP is even two steps ahead of the Congress in terms of broken promises.
Mr. Nayab Singh Saini said that after the formation of the BJP government in Punjab, they will create a favorable environment for setting up industries so that the youth can get more jobs. He also said that drug addiction will be cracked down upon and youth will be encouraged to take up sports. Like Haryana, a sports environment will be created in Punjab so that the players here can also bring more medals to the country and make them proud.
